The "Learn with Google AI" website is intended to make artificial intelligence and machine learning more accessible.
Google intends to make artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning more accessible and is launching the "Learn with Google AI" website, a platform for information and exercises on the subject.
The company sees its site as an online resource center for anyone who wants to "learn the essential concepts of machine learning, develop and perfect [ses] machine learning skills, and apply machine learning to concrete problems." The platform includes videos, online courses, documents, tutorials, or even interactive games to learn or deepen the concepts of AI and machine learning.
"Learn with Google AI" is intended for all profiles, from beginners to specialists. It is also possible to filter the resources according to his profile: "Researcher", "Data scientist", "Software Engineer", "Decision-maker", "Student" and "Curious Cat".
"Machine Learning Crash Course"
There is also a free Machine Learning Crash Course (MLCC) on the platform. The MLCC is based on an internal course at Google, which was intended to give its employees a practical introduction to the fundamentals of AI and machine learning. "So far, more than 18,000 Google employees have attended the MLCC, and implemented lessons from the course," Google says in a press release.
The course lasts about 15 hours, and contains interactive lessons, lectures by Google researchers, case studies, videos and forty exercises. It is normally accessible to beginners without any machine learning experience, but Google recommends however to be comfortable with the basics of algebra ("variables and coefficients, linear equations, function graphs, and histograms ") and the Python programming language.
