On the occasion of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ​​Sony has introduced the Sony Xperia XZ2 and the XZ2 Compact, two high-end smartphone sublimated with a new rounded design. In France, the Sony Xperia XZ2 and the XZ2 Compact will be marketed at 599 and 799 € from the second quarter of 2018. This new range has just been announced that Sony already evokes his successors.

Particularly renowned for its photo sensors, Sony has unveiled the innovative dual photo sensor that will be added to the Xperia. The newly released Sony Xperia XZ2s do not exceed ISO 12,800 in photo and ISO 4,000 in video. "We want to make sure our photo sensors communicate with each other and create something new," Sony said at the presentation. . With this new photo module, Sony wants to make sure that you can shoot your photos in less than optimal conditions, such as in low light. With its latest Galaxy S9, Samsung has made the same promises.
In addition to this innovative dual photo sensor, Sony has also formalized the Sony Fusion, a new Image Signal Processor. It is thanks to this chip that the two new Xperia photo modules will be able to work efficiently simultaneously. For now, this module and this ISP are still in the prototype state.
