what differences in design?

The Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S8 should look very similar in terms of design. Diagrams point out the slight differences between the two Samsung smartphones in this area. The Galaxy S9 will propose only slight changes compared to its predecessor: it will be a little smaller but wider and will be on the other hand thicker. However, even finer edges are expected. The Galaxy S9 will definitely not be a revolution in design. It will look a lot like its predecessor, the Galaxy S8, only a few minor changes being made. Two schemes identified by GSMArena make it possible to realize precisely what one can expect with the next Samsung flagship.

Note that the Galaxy S9 could be a bit more rounded than the S8 and that its screen should nibble a little on the edges. Other than that, not much to report. The Galaxy S9 will have dimensions of 147.6 * 68.7 * 8.4 against 148.9 * 68.1 * 8.0 for the Galaxy S8. The S9 will be a little smaller, wider and thicker. Same story for the Galaxy S9 +, which will be slightly smaller than the S8 + but also wider and thicker.
Among the significant improvements, the Galaxy S9 will offer a new fingerprint reader, still on the back, but better placed than on the S8. It will be positioned not next to the photo sensor but below, which should be much more convenient. Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy S9 would be officially presented on February 25, 2018 at the MWC in Barcelona. Its release date is still a mystery. While a launch in the course of March was almost recorded, the Korean firm sowed doubt in a statement suggesting that it could be available in February in the wake of the MWC.
