VLC becomes compatible with Chromecast in its beta version

The VLC publisher decides to make its application compatible with Chromecast, the video playback application is added to the long list of those who have already taken the step like Plex, for example. This feature is still in test for the moment and some have already been able to enjoy it. The result looks promising and should delight the users of the application. Chromecast has had tremendous success, and many app publishers have added this feature. For the record, Chromecast exists as an HDMI stick, but it is also possible to enjoy it through an Android TV box. Via a smartphone users can view content through a television using the applications that are compatible. VLC has just taken the plunge since its beta version now allows you to enjoy as highlighted by AndroidPolice that could test the functionality.
The beta version of VLC allows you to use Chromecast
VLC is one of the best video players available, easy to learn, the application has attracted a lot of users. Gently but surely the publisher has started to integrate Chromecast into these experimental versions in the course of the year 2017. Like the other applications a small icon is present and can select on which device compatible Chromecast we want to broadcast the audiovisual content.
VLC supports both local and web-based content, however AndroidPolice specifies that it only worked with local content. We imagine that it will still take some time for VLC developers to work on their copy. Nevertheless, the work is going in the right direction and VLC will eventually offer Chromecast to all users. For now, only VLC beta 2.9 is affected and the publisher has not yet released a release date on the stable version of the video player. Users will still have to be patient. In the meantime, it is possible to recover the beta on APKMirror.
