A Developer Preview version of Android P is approaching while Oreo is still struggling to find its place on our terminals. This is at least what suggests a member of the XDA site who shares his discovery. This is not really surprising in itself since that of Oreo was also entitled to an appearance in early spring 2017 before experiencing several phases of development. We see it every month, Oreo struggles to find a place in the Google ranking on the distribution of different versions of Android. Yet the development of the next iteration seems to be a new turning point since a first developer preview of Android P is evoked by Mishaal Rahman a member of XDA who reports his find via social networks.
Android P: the release of the first Developer Preview seems imminent
On the AOSP page (Android Open Source Project) we do not distinguish for the moment any indication on the future version of Android only the words "The future is now – the future is now" appear, but leave little doubt on this that we will find there. It will therefore be expected that the future version of Android makes an appearance with its first Developer Preview. For the moment we have little information on the novelties that will be introduced, it was previously suggested that Android P can hide the strength of the network signal. We will not be long in coming to know more about it.
Then the name of Android P still remains a total mystery. And that will probably last until its official release. As usual we do not know when Google intends to launch hostilities, the search giant has a habit of taking the community by surprise. In the meantime, we already know that the next Google I / O will take place between May 8 and May 10, 2018, Android P will undoubtedly be one of the main topics of discussion at that time. In the meantime, tell us in the comments what would be the novelties you would like to benefit from?
Android P DP1 seems to be near finalized. Excited to see what's coming. https://t.co/I7dY03ryvP
