Overall, this market should record a decline in sales of 5.4% this year, not helped it is true by the course certain components, especially that of the RAM. "DRAM prices have doubled since June 2016, and PC makers have begun to raise prices for their machines in the second half of 2017. This trend is expected to continue in 2018, and even until that the evolution of the price of the DRAM becomes again favorable ", notes Ranjit Atwal. In the opposite, the sales of mobile phones should progress of 2,6% this year, representing in total some 1.9 billion devices sold .
