The Google Gboard keyboard for iOS and Android becomes a machine to send Gif from you - Tech

Send a Gif from one of the cameras on your smartphone? It's easy with the Google Gboard Keyboard.
No Animoji on your smartphone? No problem ! The Gboard keyboard, already known for its many qualities on iOS and Android, has made a small change in design that intends to steal the spotlight on small animal heads of Apple. How? It's simple: the Gif feature lets you create animated images of you (or your environment, as it handles both cameras) and send them to your contacts in one click.

This feature is far from new, but sometimes a simple highlighting can bring a use: while it was hidden in sub-menus, it is directly accessible in the top bar and allows you to send two types of files in Gif or video format. The first is a classic loop of three seconds that will replay itself to infinity. The second is a longer video, one minute, which will be played in accelerated. In short, in either case, you have under your fingers the opportunity to share funny animated images. And no need for Face ID.

Google Gboard is available on iOS and Android.
