Apple already sued for voluntarily slowing old iPhone whose battery is degraded

It has not dragged on: Apple is already suing in the United States for having voluntarily reduced the performance of the old iPhone. The manufacturer recognized Wednesday night use this practice on the iPhone whose battery is degraded in order to maintain autonomy. Problem: Apple has never said anything to its users, this reduction is announced nowhere. They do not have the choice that is more, Apple imposes the reduction of the performances. Stefan Bogdanovich and Dakota Speas, two people who reside in Los Angeles, initiated a class action against Apple in the court of the State of California. The complainants believe that Apple has broken its contract with its customers by voluntarily reducing the performance of the old iPhone when new models come out. They also criticize the fact that Apple has been silent on the subject until today and add that they have never given their agreement to have the performance reduction of their own iPhone. The plaintiffs ask that Apple stops with this practice and pay a certain amount to all the users who are concerned because they have an old iPhone. Another complaint has been filed by two Illinois state residents who have partnered with other people. They believe that Apple has not respected the consumer protection laws and slowed the old iPhone for users to buy a newer model, while a change of battery could have been enough to find good performance. Here, the plaintiffs did not specify what they were asking Apple in case of a win at a trial.
